It all began several decades ago, when the brand's founder, Sunghwan Suh, saw his mother transform camellia oil into cosmetic care products. Years later, in 1979, he travelled to Jeju Island and the Innisfree adventure began.

More than 3,301 varieties were studied before finding THE Beauty Green Tea that contains 16 amino acids for optimal hydration and is hardy enough to grow in the toughest conditions. The organic green tea leaves are grown and harvested by hand, then steamed, pressed and stabilised to ensure the extract is safe for the skin. Then the real magic happens: the innovative double pressing technique increases the levels of amino acids right down to the skin.
