(Re)Discover Ilia Beauty, the clean makeup brand for an immediate glow

Behind the makeup brand Ilia, there’s Sasha Plavsic. The Vacouver-based beauty addict has always been aware of the importance of using healthy products that respect both our health and the environment. In fact, after her brother's life-threatening allergies, Sasha's mother radically changed the whole family's lifestyle, favouring a healthy diet and the use of homoeopathy. And though she began a career in design and marketing, her passion for clean beauty quickly caught up with her. As an avid consumer of skincare and makeup products, she quickly found herself frustrated by the trendy but chemically-composed products on offer, and conversely by-products with impeccable composition but a total lack of desirability. This gave rise to the idea of a brand with a transparent composition and attractive, contemporary packaging: Ilia. 

The first product she created was a clean copy of her childhood lip balm, So she created a tinted lip balm to highlight lip colour while nourishing and protecting the lips. These balms quickly became a huge success. Six coloured lip balms later, the range has expanded - and continues to grow - with “second-skin” foundations, perfecting powders, creamy blushes, colourful lipsticks and subtle highlighters... Always with the guiding principle of ease of use and multi-purpose products. Ilia’s goal? To create a world of ultra-desirable makeup with impeccable composition and no compromises: 

The Multi-Stick

What is it? This little stick blush cream lets you colour cheekbones, lips and eyes in an instant, without leaving a greasy finish on your skin. 

The little plus: It's suitable for all skin types and can be adapted in intensity.
