How to take care of dehydrated skin?
Unlike dry skin, which lacks oil, dehydrated skin lacks water. Even if the dry skin and dehydrated skin are closely linked (skin is often dehydrated due to a lack of fatty substances that limit water loss), it is important to treat them differently, otherwise small imperfections may appear due to overly rich skin care products. This guide will give you all the right gestures to have a beautiful skin, perfectly hydrated and no longer tight.
Do you really have dehydrated skin?
To note: Dry skin also has these signs, but it is permanently uncomfortable. If you have a little bit of oil on the wings of your nose, forehead or chin, you don't have dry skin. Also, dry skin has almost invisible pores ;-)
The right routine to adopt in case of dehydrated skin
1. A double cleaning every night
On dry skin, start with an oil or a make-up remover balm to remove make-up and excess sebum without irritating. This texture also has the advantage of preserving the hydrolipidic film of dehydrated skin. Rinse off.
Follow up with a gel or milk cleanser to perfect the result. The milk texture is ideal for comforting, but the gel texture can also be used when the formulas are soft, as in this case.
2. A gentle exfoliation once or twice a week
Exfoliate your skin with a gentle scrub: this will remove the dead cells that have accumulated on the surface and prevent the skin from benefiting from the moisturizing ingredients you apply afterwards. And in addition, you boost the radiance of your complexion ;-)
3. A care oil morning and/or evening
At the very end of the routine, the treatment oil restores your skin barrier and helps maintain a good level of hydration by repairing any leaks. Apply it with a gua sha to boost firmness and enjoy a relaxing moment... Comfort and glow guaranteed!
And to go further...
To maximize the results of your routine, add a few well-chosen products to it: a moisturizing mask, an enveloping cream or even a food supplement loaded with collagen for a plumped-up skin!
