“In the morning, I simply put water on my face before applying any product. I have very sensitive skin so I don’t cleanse my face to avoid anything that could be too aggressive on my skin. However, at night, I double-cleanse. It has become my skin religion! I start with Oh My Cream Skincare Makeup Removing Oil to really melt off the makeup and any impurities, and then Herbivore Pink Cloud Jelly Cleanser. A really good cleansing ritual is the base for everything!”

“Since I just came from New York, I’ve travelled and didn’t get much sleep… I have very dry skin. I apply VIOLETTE_FR Skin Barrier Rescue Serum to hydrate my skin and repair the skin barrier. Next, VIOLETTE_FR C'est La Cream Moisturising Cream, enriched in prebiotics thanks to its beetroot sugars. What I wanted was to develop a cream that could create a protection barrier to protect the Boum Boum Milk’s benefits, protect the skin from external aggressions and boost hydration at the same time.”

A minimal complexion routine

“Having naturally dry lips, I always start with a bit of Ilia Lip Wrap Reviving Balm. Next, I apply Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer. It’s a concealer that melts onto the skin without leaving any marks. I apply by dabbing it on, what I call, the root of my dark circle.”

On the cheeks

“VIOLETTE_FR Bisou Cream Blush was inspired by my daughter Inès. I always dreamt about creating a blush inspired by the colours of her cheeks from when she was very young and teething. The day I went to the lab with her picture was quite a magical moment. I think the chemists never saw someone showed up with a picture of a baby to copy the colour and turn it into a blush. For the formula, I was inspired by sfumato techniques (one of Da Vinci’s favourite techniques), it consists in using layers of transparent colours to give this “sun-kissed” effect that comes from the skin and not from the makeup.”

On the eyes

“When I was developing the brand, I had this desire to create creative but yet wearable colours, to let anyone be easily inspired. I believe we were born perfect and that makeup and colours should only be there to celebrate and inspire us. Today, I wanted to apply a colour that could inspire me, wake me up and give me a bit of a boost. The one that does exactly that to me is VIOLETTE_FR Yeux Paint Twinkling Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Rêve de Dahlia, one of my favourite colours.”

And the lips

“I use VIOLETTE_FR Bisou Tinted Balm, one of our best-sellers! I really wanted to have this “just-bitten” lips effect, like a light cloud of colours on the lips. I love the shade Sucette, which is, to me, the most fun colour that we have.”
