It almost approaches a "cold cream" texture because indeed, its formula is filled with good fatty substances: evening primrose, argan, avocado, and sunflower oils combined with shea butter. However, all these ingredients are non-comedogenic. The Rich Cream is perfect if you have normal to dry skin or very dehydrated skin. Feel free to start with using it as a night cream, in a small quantity at first. If your skin is more on the combination or oily side, consider opting for The Cream or The Light Cream.

It’s ideal to apply it on slightly damp skin. Therefore, make sure to use your favourite treatment lotion or serum beforehand. This will allow you to use fewer products, and The Rich Cream will be easier to apply. You can also warm it up a little bit between your fingers to make the plant oils more fluid, making its application even easier.

The Rich Cream is a comprehensive treatment that stands on its own. However, if you want to give your skin an extra boost, you can definitely layer a retinol serum underneath, such as Augustinus Bader The Anti-Ageing Retinol Serum. This should be done only in the evening.
